
Andrea’s journey with North Shore Trust & Savings reflects growth, adaptability, and a strong commitment to service. Since joining the organization in April 2019 as a Universal Banker, she has expanded her expertise and embraced new challenges, ultimately finding her place in the lending department as a Loan Servicing Associate.
In 2022, when a loan servicing position became available, Andrea saw an opportunity to grow. She applied, transitioned into the lending department, and has continued building her knowledge ever since. For her, working with loans is a constant learning experience, and that ongoing education is one of the things she values most about her career.
Customer service has been a defining theme throughout Andrea’s professional life. She began working in a customer-facing role at just 17 years old. Over time, she developed skills that go far beyond answering questions. She learned how to truly listen. Andrea understands that providing great service is not always easy. There are uncomfortable conversations and difficult moments, but she remains calm, composed, and focused on resolution.
Her impact extends beyond customer interactions. Andrea is known for stepping in wherever needed. In addition to managing her daily responsibilities, she supports colleagues with new projects, audit documentation, and process questions. She brings the same dedication to teamwork that she brings to customer service.
One of the most inspiring parts of Andrea’s story is her personal growth. Once very shy, she credits her experience in customer service for pushing her out of her comfort zone and strengthening her confidence.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys reading, watching documentaries and movies, and spending time with her large, close-knit family.
