At Oak Leaf Community Mortgage, building strong relationships is at the heart of everything we do, and Rachel brings that mission to life every day in her role as Customer Relations Manager.
Since joining the team in January 2022, she has helped shape how we connect with clients, partners, and each other. With a Master of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Marketing Communications from Columbia College Chicago, Rachel combines strategic thinking with creative execution to elevate both our brand and customer experience.
A key part of her role is managing and optimizing our CRM platform, ensuring mortgage loan originators have the tools and insights needed to effectively engage and retain clients and referral partners. Her work supports more than transactions. It helps build meaningful, long-term relationships that extend well beyond the closing table.
Rachel also plays an important role in shaping our outward presence. She creates social media content that generates leads while reinforcing Oak Leaf’s commitment to being a trusted, “lender-for-life” partner. Her ability to connect strategy with storytelling brings our brand to life in a way that resonates with the people we serve.
That creative element is what Rachel enjoys most about her career. Whether designing graphics, producing videos, or writing ad copy, she thrives on connecting unexpected ideas and uncovering valuable consumer insights. For her, it is about more than marketing. It is about turning understanding into action and contributing to a larger purpose, helping individuals and families achieve homeownership.
Her commitment to people extends beyond her professional role. Rachel has served as a leader for Girl Scouts of the USA, reflecting her dedication to mentorship and community involvement.
There is also a thoughtful, creative side to Rachel that may surprise some. While she describes her younger self as fun and easygoing, she has always had a deep love of reading. At one point, she checked out every Tennessee Williams play available at her local library, not for school, but simply because she wanted to read them all. It is a small but telling glimpse into her curiosity and appreciation for storytelling.
Outside of work, Rachel’s world centers around her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters, along with reading, walking, traveling, going to the theater, celebrating holidays, and being with friends. Whether at work or at home, she values connection, creativity, and meaningful experiences.
Rachel’s blend of strategic insight, creative passion, and genuine care for others makes her an integral part of Oak Leaf Community Mortgage. Her impact is felt not only in the systems she manages or the content she creates, but in the relationships she helps build every day.
